1993 XLH-883 Sportster $2500

This motorcycle is in good running condition, and ready to drive away. It is in about 95% factory stock condition. The original Harley-Davidson fuel tank was replaced by a 2.1 gallon "tear drop" style fuel tank by the previous owner, and the tank's paint is slightly flawed. I added chrome engine guards in 2006 along with black anodized H-D hand levers to match the black hand-grips. The saddle is the H-D original and is in very good condition (see photos). The exhaust system works well and the engine idles "perfectly" after a warm-up. The vehicle was originally sold by Harley-Davidson of Atlanta and it was tuned for the local climate there. I have the original ignition key (on a leather fob) as well as the H-D owner's and service manuals, which are included in the sale. This motorcycle has never been in any accidents to my knowledge, nor has it ever required any major repairs. Both tires are Dunlop model 404D (H-D spec.) and in comparably fair condition. The rear brake pads are new and the motor oil, filter, and transmission fluid were just changed. The transmission shifts easily and smoothly, and the clutch is properly adjusted. The brakes apply both evenly and smoothly, and their is no damage to, or scoring on, the brake rotors. The engine runs evenly and I have never had any issues with acceleration, including while going uphill or passing. I have driven this motorcycle (solely) for the past 13,000 of its 35,000 miles with no breakdowns or problems at all while on the road. This is a "rider's Harley" and not a "show bike". You can add your own chrome, etc. to it if you would like to customize it. I have cleaned it up nicely and have performed all of the needed and routine maintenance for a proper sale and vehicle inspection. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
