1948 Harley-Davidson EL. First year panhead. Last year springer front end on the Big Twin. Very complete bike. Starts right up after 2 primer kicks and runs great. Only 200 miles on full engine rebuild. Very desirable and hard to find an original and complete first year 48 Pan. Original OEM Harley 1948 wishbone frame has all correct casting marks at the right side of the rear axle. OEM Springer front end has all correct casting marks on the crossmember. OEM Heads are correct and have 1948 castings on the bottom side. All OEM sheet metal is original. Punched out to 74ci or 1200cc. Upgraded to 12 volt for easier starting and brighter lights. Matching belly numbers. OEM Trans also original to engine. Mostly OEM with a few aftermarket parts but otherwise a very original and good running
